About us

This website is the result of several years of work by a group of experts, all members of the FEPA. 

But what is the FEPA? It is the Federation of European Producers of Abrasives gathering 8 national associations and huge companies representing around 200 members. 

Our 70 experts work to develop different media to give safety recommendations for the use of various abrasives products: safety leaflets available in products packaging and on this website, safety codes, videos… and now a website.

Abrasivessafety.com is dedicated to give DIY and professionals end-users of abrasives tools and machines, advice to use this products safely and to avoid accidents that can be very serious. We intend to give you information on safe use of abrasives in compliance with European standards. Our goal is not to give advice on product selection.
